Metal Storm Awards 2015 - Now Open
Ladies and djentlemen, it's that time of year again - the Metal Storm Awards 2015 are open for business.
The voters are about to swarm like gundarks, so be prepared to withstand the onslaught of chatter and indiscriminate, early bird vote-lobbing that will soon unfold.
For the next however many days are in February this year (lousy indecisive month), the Awards are all yours to paw through and explore. We've got an impressive array of nominees, as usual, so don't be afraid to consider the other candidates before purposefully striding right past them and voting for your favorite band anyway.

I think Sabaton ran away with it last year and their albums are all just the same stuff constantly . Oh well  Who did you vote for in PM category?

Best Debut is the category I'm most interested in every year. So I was wondering, how come Chaos Echoes is a debut when the band has like 5 more releases on bandcamp? Learned about the band here a few days ago, so I'm all ears. I'm guessing they are EPs or something (quite long EPs if that's the case), but still feels like "cheating" when the band is already quite experienced against other contenders.

I don't have anything to say about that nomination if that's the case.

I just checked the rest of the nominates and saw that Izah, Outre, Khemmis and Terzij De Horde have released EPs before their debut. They are all dirty "cheaters"!

Chaos Echoes having 5/4 EPs, which I don't even know if some can considered as such, seemed like kinda unbalanced against the other band's historial.
