I agree on the image, I've always thought of this band as sort of a parody of black metal.

I agree on the image, I've always thought of this band as sort of a parody of black metal.

They think they are tr00 but they are posers, after first scandinavian bands, bm actually became much better and much atracive.

It's good, but somehow not as good as I expected it to be, I'm getting some seriously strong Sworn To The Dark vibes from this, but it lacks the quality, and is short of the memorable moments that album had. There is definitely a sinisterness about Watain that is unmatched, I've always liked the rawness to their sound, and I've noticed a slight vibe of the later Necrophoic sound too, only with less melodic riffs.

I can't say I'm that impressed by every song, but my stand outs are "Before The Cataclysm", and "We Remain".

For me, it’s the dated and gimmicky stage presence, the over the top theatrics and “rituals”. The edgy attempt at borderline-nazi stuff (this album cover for sample) is also eye-roll inducing, They come off like they’re trying way too hard.

I agree, those first vave bands are posers, kids what wanna be loners and trOO evil person what lives in a woods, and eat bear shit as sallad in a evenings.
Anti all same time band has social media and so on, just created but still band lives in Uppsala and (even I checked where he lives in a google,) still. Their image maybe is made for few, but if this band wanish bm wont die,

Tried to andcto the best of mine to dive into their music but no, i couldn't. Seems like a softer version of black metal, or is it BM even?

Some decent BM from the stalwarts of the genre. We remain is really slow and melodic, almost gothic. Nice changeup there.

I love Leper's Grace

I love the sound, and the intensity. The music is like some types of yarns, when you think "oh, what a nice rich red" and when you look closer, it is not just red strands, but many other colours spun into it as well.
