It's hard to understand how these virtuoso musicians have such an ordinary vocalist. Boring. A voice without nuances and always the same melodies. The drums are the most notable thing that fights throughout the song not to put the listener to sleep.

So far they managed to put out two singles that sound less inspired than those of the Astonishing album... nice job The band rushed to the studio as soon as they got their drummer back like they were 25yo again, but Portnoy was on the same lazy autopilot mode as the rest since decades. Funny to think that this 'big reunion' album will probably be far worse than Mangini's Distance Over Time
