Endgame is an awesome album. It has a great sound, and it is way better than Risk! Stop hating on it and try listening to all of it a few times!:necro:

New Megadeth Kills, end of story....it has that peace/rust/count/disintegrators feel from cryptic.

I think "indifferent" would be the best word to describe Megadeth's Endgame. I was expecting to hear what is supposed to be dave's "proudest moment since Rust In Peace", well guess what? It's not, at least for me.

I heard only one song from the new Megadeth album (the one they made a video for) and it sucked. My opinion on Megadeth is the same as my opinion on Metallica. I simply don't understand why people seem to still care so much for those bands who gave the best they had decades ago. It would be about time people realize the 80s are over.

I've heard a few songs from the new album. It was okay from what i can recall, and the solos were freakin sweet. but I don't even know completly how I feel about it yet. Wasn't dave talkin up this new guitarist dude?

"Endgame" is a good album, make no mistake about that...but I wouldn't call it a classic, as it's not in the league of the first 4 albums. I also prefer "The System Has Failed" over it. My main issues with "Endgame" are certain elements sound forced, and not very organic. I also think "The Hardest Part Of Letting Go..." sounds unfinished, and woefully underdeveloped. Could have been a classic Megs song, instead, it's merely "ok".

Endgame is a very good album, and "Head Crusher" is a kickass track , it's clear and true to me that Megadeth is still alive and they can do the best of Thrash metal..

Well, to talk about a "classic" it is pretty obvious that it has to pass properly the test of times, and prove to be a groundbreaking album for its own time.. Anyway, I consider Endgame to be the best Megadeth's album since Peace Sells...

I'd have to say that most of Engame got very little reaction from me. I think Dialectic Chaos was nice, and Headcrusher and 1320 were really the only very good songs. The others just got a big "meh" from me. They weren't bad. They just didn't really stick out enough to catch my attention, except for 44 Minutes which I noticed simply because of the horrible lyrics. Still, it's an improvement over United Abominations.

To me Endgame is definitely competing for the "album of the year" title with Kreator. I would say it's almost as good as Rust in Peace. At least it kicks the living shit out of CtE. Cannot wait to see them play some of these tracks live.

Their best line up was Mustaine-Friedman-Ellefson-Menza, without doubt. "Endgame" is very good album for me, it sounds like old Megadeth really
