If it's a blend of traditional 80s heavy metal with a hint of 70s hard rock (with an added oomph) that tickles your fancy, then this First Sighting of Blood Star will surely meet your nostalgic needs.

Female fronted metal us getting bigger n bigger. This is one of best female fronted albun in a decade, might win to me. I listened it 10 times., I hear old 80s big band vibes here.

The first track is killer. The rest doesn't live up to it.

Odd, I'd say tracks 3 and 6 are the best here

I guess they are ok. In all fairness, I got tired of the album fairly quickly. It's a shame because it's one of my favourite genres and I am going through a phase that I am very into this type of female vocals. Sanhedrin last year were on repeat in my headphones, for example.

I like it, ok there's nothing original here, but there's plenty of cool headbanging moments, plenty of cool riffs, decent bass lines, charasmatic, energetic vocals, and decent enough songwriting. Credit to another NWOTHM band keeping old-school heavy metal alive. They remind me very much of Riot, which is cool by me.

but then Sanhedrin is much better than this band, more interesting, better song-writing IMO.

Finally got around to this, it’s nothing new but really stands out to me, the last track is awesome too. I’m usually not impressed by standard Heavy Metal but this is one of the best in awhile
