Totally agree , it's style is more like Forest Of Shadow last couple albums.

Damn what a pleasant surprise. This album was ridiculously hard to find a hard copy of.

I don't think it's that epic personally, but I do love how it builds up momentum and pretty much carries a single melody for the entire song. Good stuff.

I usually didn't listen to funeral doom metal
but this album really amazed me and i fell in love with this genre

Damn great. I really like it but still I think Aeternum Vale was better.

gives me goosebumps. the rhythm throughout the song is hypnotising and the guitars in the end make it a perfect song

My favourite funeral doom metal album. Slightly more consistent than Aeternum Vale.

9.1/10 for me - 'The Lachrymal Sleep' and 'Threnode' are the standout tracks. 'Leaden Winged Burden' is slightly weaker than the rest, but still a great song.
