They did a melodic and commercial approach in one last desperate attempt to make something of the band. It didn't work and the band was done shortly after. Paul O'Neill of Savatage fame is the producer on this one. There's not much intresting to say other than that, it's a quite weak record where the band just tries too hard. There's some songs that are pretty good like the title track, Poisoned and No Way Out but as a whole it's a tedious listen. According to wikipedia Thorn In Your Flesh was somekind of hit in the US, I have a hard time believing that but I guess stranger things have happened...
