Good rock album, best song is last road to valhalla , good album

I can still remember oh too well the white lion from the cover art of their sophomore album starring at me in multiple copies at the second hand record store where I used to hang out like daily back in the early 90s -- almost as if begging for me to buy this album. I successfully resisted because I didnt find much to dig in this glam metal/hard rock full of cheese.

Now, today -- probably for the first time ever -- I came across their debut album. And I must say that I enjoyed it pretty much. This apparently was somehow a relevant two years before the glam and cheese took over at White Lion, with the white lion on the oh so white cover art.
You get an idea of the cheese that was yet to come in songs like Broken Heart and In the City.
But songs like All the Fallen Men, and El Salvador are really excellent. I also liked Cherokee, Where do we Run, and Road to Valhalla to some degree.
