new album's surprisingly good. tbh, i was expecting something like their last album, but this sounds more like Out of Myself and a bit like Second Life Sindrome. all good in my ears. and the fact that there are only 5 songs, makes it even better.

If what you say is true, ie sounding similar to "Out of Myself" then this is only good news! I've been longing for that kind of sound, the last album didn't fully settle in with me, I think.

dont put your expectations to high or you may get disappointed, the new album is better than REM but not as good as SLS

I can't wait to get the new album, also we'll be able to buy the CD+DVD edition, looking forward to that as well.

It's just the first listen, I need more time to judge. But....the new album is good. Very good.

I would hope it would be different from the other three albums. The first three were actually written to be played as one long movement, and now they are working on a new suite.

I'm rather upset today, the album was supposed to be out today, I preordered it and now it's only available next month.

HUGE Riverside fan! ADHD is their best album....why?

- You can listen to it over and over and still find things in the songs you didnt hear the last time
- The best studio production of the 4 albums BY FAR

Just read in their site that their new album is the best-selling album in Poland. I'm so proud of them.

Even if I love them since Out of Myself and they've been slowly but surely getting a reputation, a lot of people only noticed them with ADHD.

Huge album for them.

I'm afraid Riverside has the same knocks against them like Porcupine Tree here in the states: no radio airplay, somewhat unknown, progmetal has always been part of the underground scene. The only way Riverside gets the props they deserve for this album is if they tour the states with a big name in progmetal like Dream Theater or Symphony X or Evergrey or similar.

This band has always sounded like a second class Porcupine Tree to these ears. I'm, not a big fan of progressive metal so I have enough with one band at once playing a specific branch of the style, but I find Riverside's music rather empty

Have you tried the new one yet though? I don't like the old albums myself, but the new one got me hooked instantly and for weeks.

Agreed. The new one is up for album of the year IMO. I just wish it had more songs!!

Hmmm...not all the time obviously...some can pull it off I.E. the last two Dream Theater albums and almost every Porcupine Tree album!
