I haven't listened to this album but I'd already predicted it could be bad when I saw Nuclear Blast label. NB has been a "charity" label all the time.

- I heard the shop owner said their Overkill last two albums are under one Canadian label, the label doesn't care about the sales of their artists in other countries except USA market, even refuse to sell their artists' albums overseas...
Wrong, Ironbound and The ELectric Age were also released by NUclear Blast.
Immortalis was released was released by Bodog, which indeed is a Canadian label.
Killbox13 and ReliXIV were released by Spitfire which is an American label
So, of the last seven albums (that is including the new one) only one has been released by a Canadian label

Which ironically is the only album I never see in any music stores here.

What's with your crusade against Nuclear Blast? Do you work for a rival label or something?

Don't be so sure...may be we need further "investigation", eventhough I think I'm right and you're wrong.
- Ironbound and The ELectric Age were originally released by E-One (Canadian label) and this lazy label works closely with Sony in USA. All artists under this label don't expect themselves to earn a living due to their company's laziness.
- "Killbox13 and ReliXIV were released by Spitfire which is an American label" - I'm talking about things happened after 2004 (past 10 years), these 2 albums are out of discussion. BTW who has been listening Overkill after I Hear Black

Ironbound and The Electric Age were originally released by Nuclear Blast, and only by eOne in America.

I think it's the other way round...eOne is a bigger company compares to NB so NB is helping eOne to "distribute only".
- I bought these 2 album almost less than 2 weeks after released, the back cover shows it's under eOne. Usually the original label will release first in order to earn the "Hot Money" first, after all copies sold out then they will decide if they want to sell the copyright to other label if there is label interested.

Back onto the music... this is a great album I didn't like it much at first but for thrash metal it quickly grew on me

I saw a copy of that album at a now-closed HMV on its shelves for so long (if we are talking Immortalis). I imagine the $20 price tag is part of what put people off, I could tell it was the same crusty copy there every time I went.
I'd be shocked if I went to an HMV and this new one wasn't there though. They had a lot of copies of Electric Age when it came out too.

Oh, why does no one else but me think this band's recent efforts are boring?
Kidding. There's some people that didn't like it, so you are not alone.
You rang?
To me this is just another thrash metal album which isn't really a bad thing, but I've never really liked OverKill anyway.

I think they're hit and miss. Ironbound was the pick of the litter out of the last 10 or so years. The rest have been average to good. None have been spectacular.
Ironbound was alright for me, but everything else just bored me.

I actually think this band is at their best right now..they finally discovered how to actually write good songs....Never was a huge fan before..I like this album a lot. Just as much as Ironbound..better than anything they did after Taking Over, easily.
