I recently took this picture from a really pretty area of town that was next to a fire extinguisher business. I apologize in advance for my shit-tier camera. It's almost 5 years old at this point.

I'm going to share some pictures of my flickr gallery with some little info: This is my hometown, Kef by night: Random window Table Of Jugurtha, an astonishing 1200 m high flat topped plateau that I just visited last spring for the first time, although I coud see it in the horizon for all these years and never planned to visited it,finally it was an exhausting day but worth it: The beach in early morning, before all the tourists come and fill the place: Those rich bastards with all their yachts A ghost house The beach in winter The narrow streets of my hometown Spring in countryside, taken throug the car's glass

07.07.2010 - 02:56 Written by hanna of steel on 06.07.2010 at 20:55 apologies for any disgusted / dis-comforted viewers, maybe i just needed to feel that i'm not the only one who is bothered by the unbelievable pollution and garbage Egyptians live in i'm preparing a paper about the subject, with my own perception about the phenomenon and how it reached these unprecedented proportions. I might share it here on MS when i'm done. so, sorry again

@ ezz_zombie Don't be sorry about posting those pics - they may not be "pretty" but they are part of your life and therefore of interest. I guess your city governors do not put enough money into the garbage disposal department . A small heap of garbage soon grows into a big one because everyone thinks that "one more bag of rubbish won't make much difference " . I am sure , however , that there are some beautiful parts of Cairo too .

Egypt has pyramids and it's famous for relatively warm winters, that's why people don't think of the messy Cairo when someone mentions this country. Reality sucks, but I guess everyone must visit it once in a lifetime. Okay, here's a bit from me too. I think that soon I'm going to have so many photos of these places that eventually I'll be able to show you whole Old Riga, haha. In case this is not working (like now), here's a link to pictures

I passed by a huge pile of garbage today but i didn't have my camera with me, i'll probably go take a picture of it 2moro (it would be more piled up into one monstrous mountain of garbage )

19.07.2010 - 23:46 Written by Roro on 15.07.2010 at 18:24 Of course it's not funny - it's sad that a city as big as Cairo cannot seem to keep it's streets clean. Ok - it's not pretty like a lot of the pics here , but that doesn't mean no one is interested in seeing it . There are both good and bad places - it doesn't hurt to compare them sometimes .

20.07.2010 - 00:00 Written by Roro on 19.07.2010 at 23:19 Reham, Please be subjective in criticizing me.. okay? 'burying your head in the sand like ostriches and looking the other way and pretending like everything is fine would just keep things the way they are, pure shit ... BUT.. if we expose our problems, and face them rather than hiding from them.. only then we would be able to clean up our city.. besides.. it seems you're not bothered by the amount of garbage in Cairo, why are you even commenting on my post ? so, as respect for my fellow metalstormer's feelings i wouldn't post anymore garbage photos in this thread, it it supposed to be a pretty one dedicated to the beauties that photography captures... so, i'm making a new thread for the 'unpleasant' photos i take.. and thank you hanna
