Meshuggah - New Album Release Date Announced
Swedish experimental extreme metallers Meshuggah has set March 27th as the release date for their, as-yet-untitled, 7th full-length album and follow-up to 2008's obZen.
The band issued the following update: "After a long time of deep soul searching and intense wrecking of the psyches, the new album is finally done. Soon you will meet this colossus that will pulverize your being. Welcome to the other side on March 27."

Oh man, this is news. No band can pulverize a person's being quite like Meshuggah at their best. Definitely, definitely eager to hear their new material. Chasing those early samples of Bleed when obZen was on the horizon was a good time.

Definitely can't wait for this to drop. March is going to be a good month, Meshuggah and Spawn Of Possession both drop that month and then Deeds Of Flesh the month after; 2012 is already shaping up to be a pretty good year for metal...

Im totally ready for this haveing LOVED ObZen. This colld be anything and im ready for next years releases like this as everyone said above  Hopefully they release a new video soon, if the last new song video was "Bleed", imagine what the next one will be.
