Trail Of Tears - Forced To Cancel South American Dates
Official band statement:
It is with regret and a big portion of anger that we have to announce the cancellation of the shows in São Paulo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina on November 10th and 11th respectively.
The reason for the cancellation is a breach of contract made by the Argentinian promoter Fiction Press, who failed to provide the agreed advances to cover flights and other costs. As a result it is impossible for the band to travel to Brazil only as it would involve a huge loss for everyone involved.
We did a lot of work and put a lot of efforts into making these two shows as it has been our firm determination to come to play for our Latin brothers and sisters. Once again the Latin metal community, the greatest fans in the world, are suffering for what can only be described as equally terrible and useless promoters.
Refunds should be directed to the source of purchase and once more we apologize for having to write this. We surely wish that we did not have to.
