Your releases get better every time. I like the ambient/heavy combo, I listen to a lot of material like that. I especially liked your song "Cabin Coma". I like the utilization of sound clips, I find they add another dimension to music. Agalloch's "Faustian Echoes" is an excellent example of soundclip/music combo that really works well. And Mortiis did a horror album that was entertainingly creepy.
I can see that you are trying to incorporate various atmospheres and degrees of heaviness in your material, it's working out well, and I also respect the time and effort it takes to do these things on your own. "Morning Lethargy" was also quite good and atmospheric. Nice work BoxCar, your music is evolving in a good way. D

I really like those tracks! Although i'm kind of a newborn in Bm. It was always easier to ignore the genre than to actually give it a try. So well, as i said i enjoyed them!.

Enjoyable, but it loses its direction at times, and meanders in mediocrity. There are many good moments, though, and it definitely shows your maturation.

Considering it's done by a single person, a 16-year-old at that, it's rather impressive and definitely shows potential. But it isn't original by any means, so I'd say work on that.

You're Definitely getting better, I wouldn't call this bad by any means, Well done.

(Note that this is not the usual style of music I listen to, so my criticisms may be very odd, if not entirely missing the point of the music.)

1st track: the sections with music (not the sound effects) sounded like they were under some kind of haze, so I found it difficult to make out what was being done underneath it. Otherwise, can't say there was anything I disliked about it.

2nd track: the haze was noticeable again, but I reckon I'd got better used to it, since I could hear everything much better under it. Quite liked what you did overall.

3rd track: the first half probably echoed a bit too much, but the last half was quite nice. I have to ask whether this was originally intended to be a song, since I expected to hear vocals during it (maybe something Sabbath influenced?).

Overall: if the haze wasn't intended as part of the sound, then you might want to try to correct that before you release anything else (or try to make the instruments stand out better underneath it). Otherwise, you did a very good job. I won't rate it, as it's quite far out of my comfort zone and I don't know what I could compare it to, but, if this is the kind of music you'd like to make on a professional level, I'd probably be willing to support you in the future. Keep it up, mate!

You've evolved a good bit in the composition department since your last release. I quite enjoyed the vocals on Fourteen Days. Their quality when mixed with the aforementioned atmospheric haze reminded me a bit of Desolate Soul. Loved the piano on the 2nd track. Overall some pretty decent minimalist black metal. You're headed in the right direction. Can't wait to see you evolve even more. There's some great potential in there! Keep up the good work!

Good job, BoxCar. Some excellent transitions in there and I like the experiments. Your musicianship has obviously improved a great deal and your ear is really developing nicely and naturally. Honestly, in some realms of this latest work I think you've gone beyond the levels of some much more established acts in terms of being more dynamic and diverse, resulting in a more emotional outcome (and therefore, to my mind, more interesting). Keep up with diverging your imaginative exploits in numerous directions like you have and don't stop. We'll be listening.

Damn I haven’t thought about this in forever. I wish I had more time for music. I had a full length album written and ready to be recorded but it’s just so time consuming. Maybe one of these days!
