Some albums here which I really don't like:
Antediluvian - Through the Cervix of Hawaah, Artificial Brain - Labyrinth Constellation, Auroch - Taman Shud.
PL has released some bad albums in 2014 tbh.

Profound Lore like any label releases some questionable stuff but they're still the most important label in metal in my opinion. Their hit to miss ratio is probably higher in favour of hits than anyone else.

No denying here. No other label has high percent of amazing music as they.

Ohhhh, yeah. This'll come in handy.

There needs to be some kind of order, though. I recommend doing it by year.

Replace Artificial Brain with Impetuous Ritual's latest and I'd agree with your fully.

Blasphemy. IR is my 2nd most favorite album this year.

Way too long (I was happy when it was just little over 35 minutes of it instead of near 50), way too bloated-sounding, not enough good songs to keep me intrigued through it. I was really disappointed in it compared to the greatness that was their debut. Thought it would warm up on me by now, but nope.

...And what's your excuse? Artificial Brain was class-5 awesome death.

Hopefully, this will not sound pretentious but for one thing, I actually think that it's short. Every time I listen to it I hope it has one more track similar to the closer.
Compared to the debut, I'd say that their 2nd work is more "sophisticated". It might not necessarily be a good thing but works well for me. I thin with their recent released, they tarnished their debut for me.

While I don't think the new IR is quite as amazing as I originally did, I do agree with mz that that Artificial Brain album is pretty bad. One of the worst death metal albums Profound Lore ever released.

No, sir, there are way worse stuff than Artificial Brain in terms of death metal released by. Like mz said: Auroch, Antedevilian's debut was pretty bad in comparison to the one after... I'd probably also put IR down there with them.

Profound Lore barely releases any tech death anyway, so what is there to compare it to?

Why does it seem like a lot of people here dislike that Auroch album so much? I found it rather enjoyable

You mean the album with 5 votes and 3 comments? Not exactly what I consider to be a "lot of people".

Yeah, that was a bit misworded. Most of the comments I have seen from this website have not been in favor of that album.

What is Grave Miasma - Odori Sepulcrorum doing on here?

Both the cd and LP I have of it are by Sepulchral Voice.

EDIT: Ignore comment. I now see in the tiny print on the back it is a co-release.

I think that Fearmeister secretly works for I Voidhanger Records.

I have heard about half the stuff on this list and my favorite is Vaura's release. It is sooo good. Marcel might even like it...the old-schoolers like us.

Profound Lore is up there for my favorite record labels but #1 is Translation Loss.

The Flenser has been pumping out good shit lately too, Sargent House has some cool, wacky bands but not a lot are metal. I also love Deathwish (ran by J.Bannon of Converge) but it's mostly hardcore stuff.
