The Wacken festival this year has come to an end and, as usual, the organizers now start presenting the first bands for the next Wacken Open Air. The biggest names confirmed out of the 17 acts from several genres so far include Blind Guardian, Ministry, Borknagar, and Therion. More names will follow in the next weeks and months, with the metal feast happening from 4th-6th August 2016.

Pre-sale of W:O:A 2016 tickets started in the night from Sunday, 2nd to Monday, 3rd of August here. The tickets will probably sell out soon.

Bands announced so far: Blind Guardian, Ministry, Steel Panther, Eluveitie, DragonForce, Callejon, Axel Rudi Pell, Legion Of The Damned, Orden Ogan, Orphaned Land, Borknagar, Eskimo Callboy, Henry Rollins - Spoken Word, Therion, Unisonic, Kylesa, Pyogenesis.
