So many great albums came from Norway in the 90´s that a lot of jewels got lost in the way. this is one of them. incredible underrated album.

typical raw production, great melodic riffs, painful harsch vocals, no blastbeats but still reasonable drumming.
a very consistent album from start to finish. in some moments it even has a depressive atmosphere that was already ahead of it´s time. if you wanna enrich your collection with top notch Norwegian 2nd wave black metal, this is a must have. and has great cover too .

Damn the bass on this album is so good. Gives it a goth rock feeling at times. Dimension Of The Blackest Dark in particular has such a catchy bass + guitar riff combo it's insane. About time I sink in my teeth on their discography. There is something so unusual aboutn their mid-tempo black metal that is very hard to describe. it could be the gothic ambience I said earlier but there is something else lurking in their music. It's very hypnotic but not psychedelic. I can also send a DSBM vibe perhaps due to the raw howls. 30 years old and still pretty fresh for being a second-wave bm act.
