This has a really pleasing ethereal ambiance and some enjoyable acoustic work. "Pale" and "Disorder" are both standout tracks to me, but the rest of the album meanders too much and sounds like a knockoff of what's already been done better by dozens of similar projects.

Still, those songs have a certain replay value and fit some mood-specific playlists, so there's that.

It's easier for me to recommend albums as discographies tend to be far less consistent across the years, but feel free to explore beyond the specific releases I've mentioned below.

While they aren't all strictly blackgaze, they do feature the typical blackgaze elements that are even remotely present on the album in question here, but I also think they highlight the genre's capabilities beyond the simple black metal + shoegaze combination, as in they're uniquely atmospheric.

Alpha Eri by Alrakis (for the space ambiance)
To Lay Like Old Ashes by Austere (for the droning depressive vibe)
Lost by An Autumn For Crippled Children (for the warm nostalgia and innovation)
Roads To Judah by Deafheaven (for the harsh, depressive juxtaposition)
Traktat by Karg (for the agonizing vocals and beautiful melodies)
Torn Beyond Reason by Woods Of Desolation (for everything offered by the previous three suggestions)
