A little list series where I list my top 20 favorite metal albums every year starting from the year I was born in.
1991 and the early 1990's ware the golden age of old school death metal, where progressive metal stars to kik more gear, the mayhem of the second wave/Norwegian black metal starts, And of course 1991 is the year where Grung killed Glam metal my favorite non metal albums of 91 1.Nevermind By Nirvana ( Grunge, Alternative rock)  2. The Low End Theory By A Tribe Called Quest (East coast hip hop, jazz rap)  3. Kalimat By Majida El-Roumi (Traditional Arabic Pop)  4. The Visit By Loreena McKennitt (Celtic New Age, Celtic Folk Music)  5. Massive Attack By Blue Lines (Trip Hop)  my favorite movie from 1991

Very nice! Lots of death - as it should be!  You've got all my favorites of 1991 here: Dismember, Sepultura, Death, Sarcofago, Unleashed, Iced Earth - plus some that I also appreciate: Atheist, Bathory, Coroner I'd add also Bolt Thrower's Warmaster, Autopsy's Mental Funeral and Entombed's Clandestine. Keep it up with the lists!

Great list this was one of the best years for death metal imo. My top 10 would be: 1. Iced Earth - Night Of The Stormrider 2. Dismember - Like An Ever Flowing Stream 3. Carcass - Necroticism: Descanting The Insalubrious 4. Sepultura - Arise 5. Entombed - Clandestine 6. Death- Human 7. Bathory- Twilight Of The Gods 8. Bolt Thrower - Warmaster 9. Ozzy Osbourne - No More Tears 10. Motörhead - 1916

Blessed are the sick is a good album but nothing I return to any more. The same holds in a way for Carcass. I love Heartwork but dont find me visiting any other of their albums frequently.
