When your listening to your MP3, WMP, CD player, or whatever, isn't there atleast one song that makes you picture it being played at a concert and then your picturing a huge moshpit? What song would that be in your head?

Before the spamming gets even more massive, I must say that it always depends on the mood of the audience. For example, the most violent mosh I've ever been in was at an In Flames concert while they were playing Behind Space, which is absolutely headbangable, but I always have the impression that Thrash Metal concerts are way more moshable and headbangable than other genres, as long as no The Ritual (Testament) or St. Anger (Metallica) song is involved. Another good couple of violently moshable songs are Fuel by Metallica and Futureal by Iron Maiden, although the latter is usually unnoticed by metalheads.

death metal concerts can be a bit more moshable -it depends on the band-. also, sorry but i don't think someone would ever mosh with futureal... i mean... i've been in a live of iron maiden and only in songs like run to the hills the people moshed a bit....

Dude... Fucking VIOLATE by ICED EARTH!!!

yeah, it's a pretty good mosh song, though not as fast and brutal as <insert death metal band> it's got such an epic and dark intense buildup in the beginning then it fucking EXPLODES with the most deadly accurate triplets only Schaffer could play. too bad the insanity lasts less than 2 minutes not the same case with the last song i'll mention here

but it's not the best, i personally find moshable some of these great songs which are very intense, fast and aggressive:
Accept- This One's For You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfBaoMMwXY4 check out those maniacs in the pit at 2:10 or something
Venom- Witching Hour, Black Metal, Welcome To Hell - Venom's always good for some drunken violent fun
Pantera- Cowboys From Hell, I'm Broken, Five Minutes Alone, lots of songs by them but none are really getting close to..

the best imo, Amon Amarth- For The Stabwounds In Our Backs - it's not ultra-fast or something, but it sure as fuck has a perfect riff and drumbeat for moshing. DA NA DE DA DE DE DA DA NU.

Caught in a Mosh!!! that's the real anthem for moshing obviously, but when Slayer plays Raining Blood and Angel of Death everyone goes extremely insane and hell its unleashed

Blanck Infinity by Epica.

Epica =/= Moshable.
Symphonic metal can't really be moshable.
Thrash IMO is the most moshable genre.

There are so many... it's a toss up between Anthrax's Caught in a Mosh, Cannibal Corpse's Hammer Smashed Face, Slayer's Raining Blood (known to cause impromptu walls of death), and Testament's Into the Pit.
