This band is trying their damndest to get me to listen but it seems like every month they’ve got a new album and I can’t keep up

Was a bit let down by their last albums, but this one is a great continuation of what they do on Infest The Rats' Nest.

Fun, catchy, great production - dirty tone but not muddy, the chugga chugging is so satysfying. I think it's impressive how much good music they can put out in different styles. And most of all with their signature sound still intact and present in all of them.

I don't have much to complain about here at all, I'm only held back form giving it a 10 because it's not reinventing anything, it's not changing anything about the way I perceive music, it's just really REALLY f**king good.

I love how this would be the No. 1 album of 2023 if this band wasn't invisible

To be fair this release is clearly a thrash/speed metal album with garage rock influences

Very little thrash metal in here to call it the primary genre. This is more of a stoner metal than anything.

Their last fully thrash album was Infest the Rats Nest.

Uhhh, no it doesn't? Infest The Rats Nest is literally the last album they played thrash on, ergo "last fully thrash album." But honestly, who can tell with KG&LW? They play everything under the sun.

This album merges my favorite genres, thrash and progressive. Awesome album, thrash, tool influences, what´s not to love.

This album is such a fascinating genre mixing pot of thrash, stoner, prog, psych rock and garage rock, and the tracks are great, especially Motor Spirit and Dragon; I think they took a step up from Infest The Rat's Nest and Omnium Gatherum on this album when it comes to writing metal

So much of debate over their genre but regardless of that, this album is super good. Gila Monster and Dragon are stand out tracks.

I gotta say, as someone who has never been a fan of these guys, nor a fan of psych rock in general - this is a very good album. My favorite one I've heard of theirs.

Such a dope album, I think the closing song might actually be my favourite, I love the synth-led ending in particular. Such a unique but natural-sounding mix of stoner, thrash, prog, psych rock and a few other bits and pieces

Lol you are in for a wild ride my friend as they rarely make an album that sounds the same and mix genres like fruits in a smoothie. You'll have a lot of fun for sure if you're into experimental and psychedelic music.

I recommend you check their album Flying Microtonal Banana which is my personal favourite of theirs. There are some classic tunes on there including "Nuclear Fusion" and "Rattlesnake".

Another album I would recommend which is more similar to this latest would be Infest The Rats' Nest.

Another brilliant album from the Lizard Wizard, this time it's stoner speed metal with an awesome fuzzy guitar tone. These guys are just delightfully creative. I was there were more bands like this that just do whatever they want, release multiple albums every year and it's always something unexpected and high quality.
