This is pretty great, a little surprised at the rating. This is the first I’ve listened to Psygnosis but I definitely need to go through their back catalogue

Well, it's definitely progressive, and a very well made progress metal album at that, but I have to say, the cello makes all the difference, it sounds incredible. For me it kinda sounds like an instrumental Ne Obliviscaris in a way.

I agree, cello is great. I enjoyed this one quite a bit more than Exul though, besides the Misericorde tracks. I don’t usually care for instrumental prog but this kept me hooked the whole time. I feel like a good vocalist could elevate this band into one of my favorites.
