The first three tracks are hard for me to digest, but I like the album from "Endless Grey" (it's an interlude! shoutout to F3ynmann2000) to the end, with "Concrete Cliffs" being the song I enjoy the most.

The drumming is pretty crazy on this thing

After more listens I gotta say this this is a really interesting album. Every member gives a great performance here. It moves from one genre to the next constantly but even though it’s extreme in sound it doesn’t seem to actually belong to any of the extreme genres. I wouldn’t call this a Death, Black, Progressive, Sludge, or Doom album but it has elements from all of them. And then it ends with a Gothic Country song lol.

This is a very intriguing album where so many elements and genre's fit together nicely. I definitely here blackened sludge but like the above comment says it has a blend of death, black, sludge, doom, gothic, and it's even progressive at times, but it's top quality regardless.

I only now saw this (we should implement that a user gets a notification if they're mentioned)

Interesting album. I liked the intense sludge of the first two tracks, but you're totally right: that instrumental is great! After that, I did not expect the album to go into post, prog, and gothic territories. Of those last songs, I agree that "Concrete Cliffs" is my favorite as well. Overall, I'm most fond of "Desolation's Harp", followed by the instrumental.

After many listens due to the fact that at some point I will hopefully post a review of this, I have come to really appreciate the first three tracks, and especially "Desolation's Harp". Overall, it is one of my favourite albums of 2024.

Easily one of the best of the year so far. I can’t stop coming back to it. After about 20 listens I love every track but strangely it’s Garden in the Dark and Forest Service Road Blues that keep drawing me back in. Can’t wait to read the review from you!
