Tharaphita hails from my country (Estonia, that is) and around here they are one of the most popular black metal acts. Despite that, I have never been too keen on them. They've always seemed a bit dull to me. Not to mention that on stage they wear - drumroll please - capes! Yes, black but ever so silky capes which I personally find just a bit too weird. But curseth be me! This album has awakened the Superman in me, cause the next time someone asks me whether or not I'm a cape-man I'd reply: "Why yes, I most certainly am!" Read more ›› |

Yep, a great album this, it has a terrific sound and it's super melodic. Last two tracks are my favorite, especially "Hullusesse".
