Disc 1 contains the mixes for the vinyl edition of this project. Consisting of a 5", 7" and 10", enabling listeners to mix and layer their own unique insect experience utilizing multiple turntables and sound systems.
Disc 2 contains a stereo representation of a single potential outcome of such exploration of the many original pieces. Listeners are encouraged to try playing the two discs simultaneously on different sound systems for further depth into the sound of insects.

I was researching this side project when I read on Wikipedia: "For example, their album Adaptation and Survival (2002) consists entirely of insect noises which were mixed and altered similar to Musique concrète, to create something that sounds entirely different from the source material." Insect noises? I thought, "WTF no way!" Now I'm listening to it, and I'm still thinking, "WTF no way!" I hate insects. I love Steve Von Till's work. In the end, Steve Von Till wins me over once again.
