And if we talk about dictatorships, those of the far right are terrible, but those of the far left are not to be pitied either. So it's more than a question of people vs Nazis (in France at least).

I've a feeling lots of right-wing people in Poland don't even realise that stuff like 20/26 paid time vacation days is a product of socialism and not capitalism. Yet if you would try to take these away from them...

In France it is not the same situation as in Germany, because there the two popular parties are both completely opposed and both have equally extreme ideas, although diametrically different.

We're so far away from even moderately progressive anywhere in Europe. Fear of communism in the face of several already outright fascist countries is just silly to me.

The Socialist Party is like the traditional right, sold to the extremes instead of standing up to them.

@corrupt that's the thing, far left is NOT socialism. Socialism is the traditional left. The far left is communism, anarchism, etc.

Also the choice between extreme right and extreme left is very easy lol
