Last year marked 25 years for one of the most significant and enduring voices in metalcore, but the lack of any release to celebrate the occasion ensured that any future albums would signal the conclusion of the longest gap between records from Killswitch Engage. Early in the following year, they’ve finally returned to restake their claim.

Why come on here just to bash a band when you clearly are not a fan. Great album as always! Jessie's vocals are next level on this one!

A fun listen, but that's really all there is to it. Just more of the same, with nothing groundbreaking or truly memorable, and that's okay.

I used to listen KsE quite a lot when I was getting into metal music. Nowadays I don't really listen this kind of stuff.

Still nice to hear they're still doing their thing and pretty well too. Nothing new but enjoyable. Somehow nostalgic, even if it's new album.

Pretty much what I feel too. Just had some spins yesterday, and KsE sounds as fresh as ever. I'm one of those who gets excited to see Killswitch Engage's new album getting released and streamed.

Not convinced by this new album, I would have difficulty finding a notable track. Compared to the previous one it's a disappointment.

I haven’t listened to the last one, but for me there’s a very clear standout track: “The Fall Of Us”. That’s the only song I can listen to from start to finish. The rest had some tasty riffs scattered throughout songs that were largely ruined by terribly cheesy choruses.

Why is this rated significantly lower than the previous album? 🤨🤨🤨

Atonement has 134 votes to get to a 7.5 avg rating, and this new album already passed 70+ votes to reach 6.8 avg, which tells it a lot about how people are quickly engaging. I feel the score will go over 7 easily.

This sounds better than Atonement. Let us see how it gets the reception.
