How new are you to black metal? Because there's of course lots of classic releases (90s black metal from Norway and Sweden) I could recommend if you're totally new to the scene. Or are you interested in more recent releases?

This list certainly looks like it has room to grow, but there's some very good album's listed so far. Good to see Downfall Of Nur - Umbras De Barbagia featured, it's is a hidden gem!

Hey! I've been listening to avantgarde metal a lot and some of it were avantagrade black, so I was mostly familiar with it. As for black metal I'm starting to love the sound and chord progressions so I'm exploring I've been fan of Agalloch for a lot of time, but that's about it. I haven't thoroughly listened any alabums apart from that in the list, and have no historical idea how black metal was growing, so any recommendations are welcomed!
As for new albums, I'll surely check if you recommend I also love post metal vibe on black metal like Wiegedood where sound is very dense.

I personally started to love black metal with Dissection's Storm Of The Light's Bane and Immortal's At The Heart Of Winter. The first is representative of the melodic black metal approach, while the second is very fast, riff-focused, and almost thrash-y.
So, I could definitely recommend you starting there as well.

If you like the melodic style, you could try Lord Belial's Enter The Moonlight Gate and Necrophobic's The Nocturnal Silence.

In terms of historical significance, bands like Bathory, Mayhem, and Burzum were very instrumental in creating the iconic black metal sound. Burzum's Filosofem is a great album for this classic style.

If you're looking for more atmospheric songs and if you like Tolkien-themed lyrics, Summoning is also a great band. You could try their album Minas Morgul.

I think those are enough recommendations to get you started for now. Enjoy!

Here are some (relatively) lesser known recommendations since F3ynman already took care of the classics. Since you're into avant-garde metal especially I have some good stuff in store:

Windir - Arntor melodic black metal with immaculate riffs and unforgettable songs
Urfaust - Ritual Music For The True Clochard hypnotic black metal with amazing vocals and a great atmosphere
Ulver - Nattens Madrigal - Aatte Hymne Til Ulven I Manden one of the best introductions to raw and ultra lo-fi black metal
Ved Buens Ende - Written In Waters THE avant-garde black metal album, set the whole genre in motion and is still incredibly good
Forgotten Woods - As The Wolves Gather lo-fi black metal with post-punk sensibilities
Paysage d'Hiver - Paysage D'Hiver quintessential atmospheric black metal album, sounds like being in a snowstorm in the middle of the mountains, and it has violins
La Torture Des Ténèbres - Civilization Is The Tomb Of Our Noble Gods ultra atmospheric black metal, sometimes even going into straight up noise. It's an acquired taste but if it clicks with you you're in for a treat.
Arkheth - 12 Winter Moons Comes The Witches Brew awesome avant-garde black metal with a saxophone, what else do I need to say
Sigh - Scenes From Hell had to include my favorite avant-garde black band, this album especially is full of creative ideas, awesome melodies and bombastic instrumentation, highly recommended (their whole discography is worth exploring)

If you liked any of those, or if you want more recommendations, feel free to ask me! (or to look through my lists, you should find some good stuff in there)

Not sure if you've listened to any of these yet, but here's a few of my personal favorite black metal albums, some of which have already been mentioned, but I'd highly recommend also:

Folk/atmoblack/meloblack:

Dissection - Storm Of The Light's Bane
Rotting Christ - Theogonia
Ulver - Bergtatt - Et Eeventyr I 5 Capitler
Bathory - Hammerheart
Windir - 1184
Lunar Aurora - Andacht
Vinterland - Welcome My Last Chapter
Summoning - Pretty much anything following their debut.

Traditional:

Burzum - Filosofem
Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Satyricon - Nemesis Divina
Immortal - At The Heart Of Winter
Emperor - In The Nightside Eclipse
