We both have the exact same taste in metal , you should listen to Unexpect, Leviathan and Cirith Ungol. Metal is just such a wide ranged genre.

From bands that you mentioned, I haven't heard only Cirith Ungol (Leviathan is on my list btw). I will check it out asap. Thanks!
vezzy - 25.12.2011 at 18:05
Cirith is good shit.
!J.O.O.E.! - 25.12.2011 at 20:54

Yeah... I agree with most of the stuff here. Most of the shit I love 8-10 rating is here.
!J.O.O.E.! - 25.12.2011 at 21:11
Will also be checking out Furia and Blindead. The only bands on this list I haven't listened to
Pazdzioch - 25.12.2011 at 23:48

You're almost elitist enough to be given a promotion here.

PS awesome signature

You say that but I don't see a single band not featured on MS, which I can only assume is intentional.

The list might not kick that ass, but it surely does something with it
IronAngel - 28.05.2012 at 01:41
Haha, this list is seriously a textbook example of how to be cool on Metal Storm. (Not implying that's the intention, mind you!) You cover most of the important metal releases I like in the past ten years (BUT NO REVEREND BIZARRE!), and some good older stuff. I know maybe 80% of these albums, and would probably include 70% in some kind of best-of list myself. Congratulations on not only an excellent taste, but accurately representing the tastes of the active forum-going userbase of MS.

Then again, a considerable overlapping and thoroughness is to be expected in a list of 100 albums, one from each band; there aren't that many notable metal releases out there, if you ignore the mainstream power metal, heavy metal, melodeath, folk metal and such releases.

There's some pretty sick stuff here though like:
Acid Bath (My favorite album of the 90s, so glad to see it here), Agruss, Blut Aus Nord, Bloody Panda, Disembowelment, Esoteric, Eyehategod, Funeral Mist, Godflesh, Khanate, Lifelover, Lurker Of Chalice, Lykathé, Murmuüre, Portal, Pyramids, Sunn O))), !T.O.O.H.!, The Angelic Process, The Meads Of Asphodel,

Granted... Many of these are very well known but they are definitely some sick stuff not really meant for mainstream at all.

I put a beer for those words! Too bad that this band doesn't get a proper interest it deserves.
