Album of the year!

This is more of psyche rock and less of prog metal. Not my cup of tea. But liked the track The first ape of new earth.

This is a fantastic release! I like the old ones too, and though this is really different, core elements that make this band great are still there. Now they've even thrown in a few new ones and shifted that psych part from 70s to 80s influenced. Somehow this album makes me think that this is what Opeth tried to achieve going from Black to Prog. They failed, Hail Spirit Noir nailed it! Not worth a full 10, because of the argualbly too long interludes and the second track is pointless but after that, starting from Alien Lip Reading, this is absolute fire!

Nope, boring psych rock at best... I find no reason whatsoever to listen to it a 2nd time.

Very enjoyable, love all the weird sounds.

Interesting and unique change of pace from their earlier albums. Very proggy, synths are very prominent here. Excellent.

I recently listened to the other Hail Spirit Noir albums, and this is definitely the best album of them.
