This band was referenced in an episode of "The Detectorists". The character goes to Botswana to interview for an archeology job and his buddy tells him to mention the death metal band Crackdust because the interviewer is a huge fan. I thought it to be a weak, cheesy attempt by the writers at trying to be cool, creating a fictional death metal band name. I was wrong. I love this show, and this band is real and great! Sounds like a more death metal Fear Factor.
