I'm sort of in two minds with this. On one side, the music is well done and the vocals have enough range to be engaging...but on the other I don't think the music is memorable enough, and the lyrics are pretty samey. I was also a bit disappointed that some of the interesting moments kept reminding me of "Save Yourself". It's good, just not my thing I guess.

I like some of the synth melodies, and the album is well constructed and thought through, but the lyrics are very simplistic and don't do much for me, and I found the majority of the album a wee bit boring, the last song in particular. But I'm guessing this could be a grower.

Edit: Not a grower for me unfortunately.

The whole album sounds very samey. For example, the first three tracks all sound like the exact same song. The formula seems to go like this:

Verse: Softly sang vocals
Chorus: Generic guitar riff + shouting the song title repeatedly
Repeat

There are a few good moments, and none of it is BAD, but this is definitely not something I will be returning to.
