Never heard them before, I like the sound of it, I like the female vocals, the harsh male vocals came as a surprise, but creates a beauty and the beast kind of style, I like the melodies too, although it's mostly soft power metal. The folk tag confuses me though

I need listen, but try old albums, cool cold folly, maybe I like since I grew up in equal environment n women is equal huh

I've been waiting so long for this! I never expected them to release new music after their long hiatus.
After the first listen, I can say I still love the vocals a lot!
I'm very curious about the rest of the album!

11 years .. I've been fucking hoping this day would come for 11 years. I could easily have been disappointed after such a long wait, but I'm so far from it. This album is as close to what I expected as it can get. Sounds 100% Battlelore, the emotion is there, the sound production is still the same, nice riffs. These guys are still one of my few all time favourite. Can't figure out why they don't get more love..

If someone described this album to me I would say it is generic and not interesting. But for a strange reason this works for me. Nice songs...less on the Folky side, cool production, well worked vocals...hobbits, elves...all here.
Also, the single sounds a bit like 90s gothic bands like Theatre of Tragedy (before Evanescence and WT desecrated the scene).

I'd put Battlelore in the same shelf has Summoning and Bal-Sagoth. They're not for everyone and they' re heavily themed on Tolkien. Nerd metal. And that's why i love them, despite musically leaving a bit to be desired.

I've only heard a couple of Battlelore tracks like a decade ago, so I don't really remember how they sounded to use as a reference for this, but my main impression of this album is how flat it sounds; I'm just not getting much energy at all, whether due to the vocals, the production or anything else, which feels somewhat detrimental for this style. It's a shame, I feel I'd quite like the songs if it wasn't for this

That's the comeback album, don't grow old, keep on dreaming about undying lands, because days of oath wont return, if you're a forest born. Nevermind., Its good album, really somehow long hiatus from studio made them compose, not so good as first 2 but its close enough. If its be debut I would say it would be best, we have no category best come back album, but this is almost 10.
