It takes a while to get into, it's slow and dreary for the most part, but then it does have it's quality moments, the female vocals are nice, and it has an emotional dark, depressing atmosphere, but there's nothing all that exciting or memorable for me. I expected more considering the length of time the album took to make, so I'm a wee bit dissapointed tbh.

The style and sound is the best thing about it, there's alot of early My Dying Bride vibes, aswel as Saturnus, but the songwriting quality is nowhere near the same standard as those bands, but then you get to "The Blazing Tempest", which sounds very black metal influenced, much like the style of The Ruins Of Beverast.
