Having seen American Scrap brought to life so wonderfully at Roadburn last week, listening to this now I do still think some of that debut's charm that disappeared on Mandala Of Fear is still missing, but this is definitely more appealing than the excess of the sophomore and possessive of that Americana charm that highlighted them as a unique voice with that debut. This has me hopeful that an eventuall full-length #3 could end up working out nicely
