Very cool and chaotic record, not sure why the low score. Also, I knew the drumming seemed a bit too good, of course it's fucking Kévin Paradis

After 5 listens now, man this is better in everyway over Perspicacity. Much less bloat. The songs don't blur together, they each have a life of their own. Some killer grooving riffs, in Enkidu and Negeltu especially. Drumming is insane with them picking up Paradis. New vocalist does a fantastic raspy growl. Love the darker atmosphere overall, fantastic album!

This has some great technical musicianship, the drumming in particular is spectacular, and as with many modern tech death albums it's really well structured considering the songwriting's complexity, and instrumental layering. It's also excellently produced, with all the instruments and elements being perfectly balanced in the mix.

But what makes this album a bit mire unique to other tech death albums is the vibrantvand dense atmospheric approach, that's from listening to the build up on "Enkidu", and the opening of "Elu Ultu Irkalla" where you can also hear chanting vocals.

It's still not an album I can see me listening to on a regular basis, mainly due to it's complexity, but they have done a mighty fine job with this, and the colourful album cover is pretty cool too
