As opener album in band long career it was not promising, but I like it BM mix whit folk music , and nice vocal parts. 52min song, one song in a album its some kind a not traditional approach, band lad simply did what he felt and wanted to do, those long songs never will be popular in media and not underground metal freaks... it don't sells. I like this band

The part from about minute 27 to minute 31 reminds me VERY MUCH of the song "Judgment", a title song from 5 th album of Anathema  ...and overall Heathen it's a great album.
