Ah, 80s Kiss, a time that saw the band clutching at anything but quality. Between the unmasking and the disco/hair metal, the band were finding themselves also-rans in an scene they did much to spawn back in the 70s. In my opinion this one is their best effort. And I'm sick & tired of hearing the tracks from '70's over and over! Come on guys, isn't it boring to always make a setlist ripped from Alive! album?

They nailed it with this album. Simple as that. They made the right move following the trend of that period in hard rock genre. Every single song even the weakest one of the album stands out just fine and it is absolutely radio-friendly and enjoyable. Great melodies, many hits in this album. This is KISS they are making always hit-oriented music no matter what the outcome is. In this one, the mission is accomplished.
