Huh? The only thing black about it are the screams, the music totally isn't and isn't even metal I dare say. Just like the previous releases weren't metal and epecially not depressive black or black. Just because the main guy in the band was in some depressive black metal bands does not make this black or metal. Most of it is speeded up 80's English pop/rock

Finally listened to this properly. I listened to all the germ albums all day actually. This album was definitely the stand out, some of the best poppy/shoegazy/Bm I have heard in ages.
