Even our own chancellor pointed this out yesterday in a speech that was supposed to explain why our own government just fell apart. It is literally affecting the whole world.

The political power in US, at least when it comes to things beside foreign policy, is very decentralized. In a way, that makes it dysfunctional, which maybe is the point. It is not easy to abuse power.

Whatever the US think they are, the rest of the world has experienced one Trump term, too. And we know that the USA under Trump are not a reliably partner in anything.

Either way it looks really bad for Ukraine's support, international trade, or attempts to fight climate change. Not to mention millions of immigrants in the US who now have to fear deportation.

I hope you're right. But as of right now, US reps have a hous majority, a senate majority and, extremely conservative supreme court, and documented plans to abuse this power to make sure they retain it.

Trump's government will not be the "regime". The American regime is its constitution.

When it comes to politicians in the US mislabeling things and forgetting names, Bernie is not the first name that comes to my mind, tbh.
