Yeah the care is good here but the problem is if you don’t have insurance you can go into crippling medical debt for a broken leg

I could rant and rant and rant about it. Our emergency room is 80% drunks coming down and 20% actual medical issues.

My dad broke his Pelvis in Wisconsin in 2012. We were in and out of the hospital in 30 minutes. X-rays, medication, treatment plan... The quality of care is infinitely better, you just have to pay more for it.

That really does suck though dude, I’m sorry to hear that. I don’t know why North America can’t seem to figure out how to have a decent healthcare system.

Doug Ford did increase the Northern Travel grant which allows us to have some of our travel money reimbursed if we have to fly to a bigger city for treatment not offered locally.

Feeling had started to come back... If I would have received that treatment in the first month, I could have be given therapy to greatly help my recovery.
