Corrupted is one of the most intriguing bands I've ever come across. Their discography is impressive and filled with little and big gems. Of the full-lengths, Se Hace Por Los Suenos Asesinos is their most accesible, but that does not mean it's a sellout's attempt at easy cash. "Gekkou No Daichi" is a seventeen minutes soothing acoustic piece, with Hevi's majestic spoken word. "Rato Triste" and "Sus Futuros" are two insanely heavy sludge-numbers, with killer riffs and immensily brutal vocals. If you and Se Hace... manage to click, there's a world of beauty and brutality waiting to be explored by you.

Chaos Moon perfectly merged ambient beauty with terrifying Black metal on their second full-length, the enigmatically titled Languor Into Echoes, Beyond. Depressive riffs couple with astral synths, voids of dissonance alternate with infinite vistas of beautifully coloured ambience. Languor Into Echoes, Beyond is inventive, enveloping and euphoric cosmic-themed Black metal. Come sail the endless seas of astral ecstasy.

Machetazo - Mundo Cripta

Rotten Death Grind
Mar 13, 2010
Machetazo are highly-praised and much-reverend among the people that know them, which unfortunately isn't a big group. Not that Machetazo cares though, they've been going since '94 and they'll keep going for a long time to come (hopefully!). Mundo Cripta is a catchy zombie-holocauster-death-grind-ride. Infectiously groovy riffs, insanely fast grind passages and a completely rotten and sick vibe, what more can you ask for?

Bloody Panda - Summon

Narcotic Sludge Doom
Mar 06, 2010
Bloody Panda's Summon, the successor of Pheromone and a step-up in every imaginable way, seems to have been largely overlooked by the Metal community. It may have to do with the fact that this album is unlike everything you've heard before. Slow drones, disturbed dynamics and drug-crazed shrieks are just some of the elements present. Ethereal and cold howls, organ sweeps and frantic drumming are a few others. Welcome to the mansion of madness...

Oranssi Pazuzu - Muukalainen Puhuu

Psychonaut Black metal
Feb 27, 2010
Muukalainen Puhuu is the perfect album for the seasoned space traveller. Their bewildered, chaotic and inventive style of Black metal incorporates krautrock and psychedelica (and more!) coupled with a cosmic theme and massively spaced-out vibe. If you're in need of a holiday for the soul, drop some acid and spin this baby.
