Alkaloid - Part Ways With Guitarist
Alkaloid are sad to announce that Christian Münzner has left the ranks due to unforeseen personal and logistical circumstances, and hence won't be joining them any longer for upcoming shows. Justin Hombach will take over Chris' guitar duties for all Alkaloid shows this year.

Alkaloid - Release Statement On Danny Tunker
Alkaloid are set to release their new album, entitled Numen, this coming September, but they have issued a statement informing their fans that guitarist Danny Tunker is no longer part of the band, and actually hasn't been for a couple of years. The new album is the product of the remaining four members. Still, there will be one song of his in Numen, and there is no drama behind this decision.

Currently working on a new album to be released next year, Alkaloid have also released a brand new video. The progressive metallers unveiled a video for the track "Cthulhu" taken from their self-released debut, The Malkuth Grimoire (2015). The sinister clip, featuring the great pyramids, a cobra, and pure darkness, was shot on location in Cairo, Egypt, directed by visionary Egyptian artist Nader Sadek. Enjoy!

Alkaloid have some good news! After their successful debut album, The Malkuth Grimoire, released last year, the band has a label now: Season of Mist. The Malkuth Grimoire also won Best Debut Album on Metal Storm Awards 2015. The progressive extremists will release their second full-length on the label next year.

This is the new band which features guitarist Christian Muenzner (Spawn Of Possession, ex-Obscura, ex-Necrophagist), drummer Hannes Grossmann (Blotted Science, ex-Obscura, ex-Necrophagist), bassist Linus Klausenitzer (Obscura, Noneuclid), guitarist Danny Tunker (Aborted, ex-God Dethroned) and vocalist/guitarist Morean (Dark Fortress, Noneuclid). The group's debut album The Malkuth Grimoire is to be officially released in 2015, and they are crowdfunding the record.
