Carcass - 50 Minutes Of New Music Written
An update from Carcass. The British metallers have talked about doing a new record since at least 2016, and now according to guitarist Bill Steer, it's finally happening. Steer told the WSOU radio station that the band has demoed about 50 minutes of new music during Christmas and that they will continue writing until they've got more than enough material.

Carcass - Guitarist Ben Ash Announces Departure
Carcass have announced a line-up change in the guitar department. After a five year stint, Ben Ash is no longer their guitarist, having just confirmed his departure. Tom Draper (Pounder, ex-Angel Witch, Primitai), his replacement, made his live debut with Carcass this past weekend at the Netherlands Deathfest at 013 in Tilburg.

Carcass - To Tour With Deafheaven, Inter Arma
Carcass are returning to North America for more touring. The British metal icons will embark on a headlining tour this November. Joining them are shoegaze-infused black metallers Deafheaven and sludge merchants Inter Arma. Set to commence on November 7th and run through November 27th, the band's latest journey follows the One Foot In The Grave headlining tour with Crowbar, Ghoul, and Night Demon this past Summer. It will be a heavy summer for Carcass fans in the U.S. as the death metallers have just announced a new tour with shows in July and August. The British metallers will be joined by Crowbar, Ghoul and Night Demon on this trek dubbed One Foot In The Grave 2016. Carcass vocalist/bassist Jeff Walker did break his foot in March!

Carcass - Vocalist/Bassist Jeff Walker Breaks Foot
Currently touring with Slayer and Testament in North America, Carcass vocalist/bassist Jeff Walker broke his foot, prior to the band's March 19th concert in Seattle, Washington. However, Jeff Walker is being a trooper and will complete the tour that wraps up on March 26th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hopefully, Jeff Walker will feel better soon.

Slayer - To Tour With Testament And Carcass
In support of Repentless, the band's 12th studio album and its career-highest chart debut, Slayer will launch 2016 by pillaging and marauding its way across North America, headlining some two-dozen dates over a five-week period. Carcass - Banned In Malaysia Due To Lyrical Content
No Carcass shows allowed in Malaysia, it seems. The seminal death metal band was scheduled to play there in May but their visas were declined due to their "lyrical content". It's not the first time a metal band is banned in Malaysia. In 2013, Lamb Of God were forced to cancel a show in Kuala Lumpur because their performances were found to infringe on religious sensitivities and cultural values of Malaysian society. Now Carcass are taking the heat even after they played in Malaysia last year.

Carcass - 'Inked In Steel' US Tour Confirmed
Carcass are pleased to announce a set of tour dates across the States, scheduled for this coming October and November. On the majority of dates direct support will come from death metal veterans Obituary (28th Oct. - 09th Nov.), and on the rest of it from Macabre (10th Nov. - 15th Nov.).
