MyGrain are no more. The melodic death metal band from Finland released their latest album Planetary Breathing in 2013 and it will be their last. Their career has lasted for 11 years but the band members have decided to put it to rest now because "it isn't fun nor inspiring anymore". But there will be two last farewell shows and former guitarist Resistor will also perform with the band.

The Finnish Gothenburg metal band MyGrain have announced the departure of their guitarist Resistor, who had been in the band since the beginning. He was replaced by Joni Lahdenkauppi, who had previously filled in for them on their European tour supporting fellow Finns Insomnium. MyGrain have released their first-ever music video. The clip, entitled "Of Immortal Aeons", can be watched below.

The release date of the Finnish melodic death metal band's third, self-titled album is set for January 12, 2011 through Spinefarm Records. The album was recorded at Seawolf Studios in Helsinki with producer Janne Joutsenniemi (Suburban Tribe, Stone) and was mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound studios in Örebro, Sweden.

"MyGrain will start the recordings of the third album in the beginning of June. The recordings kick off with drums, in a marine environment at Seawolf Studios, Helsinki and continue in various places during the summer. The album will be produced by Janne Joutsenniemi (Suburban Tribe, Stone) and released by Spinefarm Records. The planned release date will be in the beginning of 2011.
