Body Count - Stream Second Track From New Album
U.S. metallers Body Count are now streaming another song called "The Ski Mask Way" from their upcoming album, Bloodlust, due to be released by Century Media Records on March 31st. Frontman Ice-T said that the song is about people exposing their lives and their wealth on social media and thus making themselves a target for robbers who are watching. Timo Tolkki will embark on a 2017 tour where he will exclusively perform "Songs From His Career" (1987-2017), including Stratovarius favorites "Black Diamond", "Hunting High And Low", "Father Time" and "Against The Wind". Joining him on stage will be keyboard player Mikko Harkin, bassist Santtu Lehtiniemi, drummer Alex Landenburg and vocalist Mike Livas. More music from Gruesome! The modern purveyors of old-school death metal have announced a new EP entitled Fragments Of Psyche. The EP further continues the band's homage to the legendary band Death and offers a glimpse into the next era of Gruesome. Yob's frontman Mike Scheidt is lucky to be alive following a terrifying medical emergency for diverticulitis. He recently underwent emergency intestinal surgery. A GoFundMe crowdfunding campaign has been set up and all donations go towards his medical bills for past and upcoming surgeries, as well as living expenses while he heals. Dimmu Borgir - Unveil Clip From Upcoming DVD
As 2017 marks the year of the return of Norwegian symphonic black metal giants Dimmu Borgir, they will release their anticipated double-DVD, Forces Of The Northern Night, on April 28th. Available in different formats, the release will contain two live rituals: their legendary concert in Oslo, showing Dimmu Borgir on stage with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and a bombastic choir, as well as the entire performance at Wacken Open Air with almost 100 musicians in action. For now, the Norwegians unveil their first video from the Wacken show where they perform the hymn "Mourning Palace" live with the Czech National Symphonic Orchestra.
