The sludge band is going to release From The Vaults, Vol. 1, a twelve-song collection featuring unreleased and alternate versions of songs spanning their catalogue including their cover of Pink Floyd's "Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun" on November 16th in Europe (November 20 in North America) through Season Of Mist. It will be a 7-track EP called For The Bear and features the re-recording of three Scythia tracks from the first album ...Of War, two new songs and two covers. One of the covers is of a Quebecois folk song called "Mattawa Reel" and the other is a video game medley featuring fantasy video game snippets that span the last 20 years of history.
