Secret Sphere - Working On New Album
Italian power metallers Secret Sphere entered the new Authoma Studios on December 6 to begin recording their sixth album, Archetype. The band will spend two months working on the CD, which is being produced by guitarist Aldo Lonobile and Federico Pennazzato. The album will be mastered at Massive Arts Studio, while the artwork will be handled by Gustavo Savez.
Guitarist Aldo Lonobile comments: "The musical direction will keep strongly the Secret Sphere trademark, with lots of melodies, orchestration and heavy riffs and great solos. It's not a big departure from what we have done in the past, but we feel that we've integrated some new elements that enhance upon everything we've ever done, making this one of our (if not the) strongest albums to date. Some of the songtitles are "Mr. Sin", "All In A Moment" and "The Scars That You Can't See". We're ready to deliver a great album, and show you what our new members Marco Pastorino and Gabriele Ciaccia can bring to our music."

Secret Sphere - Line-Up Changes
Italian metallers Secret Sphere have issued the following update on their MySpace blog:
"Hi Folks!
After the successfull Rock Arena appearance we wanna give you some fresh news!
After ten years of Secret Sphere we decided to change to members of the band: Paco Gianotti and Antonio Agate. Antonio will continue to arrange the music for the new album but he is not fix members of the band anymore.
We wanna welcome to young talented guys Marco Pastorino on rythm guitars and Gabriele Ciaccia on Keyboards, some of you already saw them live with us in the last shows.
Don't forget to take a look to our new MySpace layout online with pictures and infos about the new line up always at the same address.
In other words we are already writing the new material absolutely more heavy always with the typical Secret Sphere touch!
Soon we will post online the next live shows planned in some parts of Italy never played during these years and Europe for the next fall.
Stay tuned for more tunes and thanks for the support over the years!
Secret Sphere."

Secret Sphere - Album Samples Online
Samples of the new upcoming album "Sweet Blood Theory" by Italian Power metallers Secret Sphere have been made available at this location (Flash Player required).
The album was recorded during December '07 and February '08 at Authoma Studios by Federico Pennazzato, and mixed in March '08 by Achim Koehler (Producer for Primal Fear, Brainstorm ,etc..) in Germany at Indiscreet Audio.
"Sweet Blood Theory" is a concept album based on the novel "The Vampire" written by John William Polidori in 1814 and is regarded as one of the early novels with a vampire character, by some even as the very first.
To embrace the concept and create the music for this fantasy epic, the band took inspiration from the famous movie director Tim Burton ("Nightmare Before Christmas", "The Corpse Bride", "Edward Scissorhand" etc), trying to re-create the typical atmospheres of his most famous movies in both the orchestral score (reminiscent of that of Danny Elfman, who did the music for the aforementioned Tim Burton movies) and for the artwork.
The result is huge step forward for the band - the music is as aggressive as never before, yet keeping the typical Secret Sphere melodic touch.
The tracklist of the album is as follows:
01. Evil Or Divine
02. Stranger In Black
03. From A Dream To A Nightmare
04. Bring On
05. The Shadows Of The Room Of Pleasure
06. Welcome To The Circus
07. The Butterfly Dance
08. Sweet Blood Theory
09. Feed My Fire
10. All These Words
11. Vampire's Kiss
12. The Day At The End Of The World
