The band writes: "This summer is magical boys and girls! We hope you are already enjoying your summer holidays or that you planning your trips and your relax time."

French progressive metallers Fractal Gates have announced a few weeks ago that they will be recording their upcoming CD near the end of August. The songs will be mixed and mastered by the legendary Dan Swanö. Dan will be singing in two of the songs. Also, Sotiris from Septicflesh will kindly be playing in one of the songs. The new album will be the band's second, after their debut Altered State Of Consciousness in 2009.

The band released the following statement about their new touring drummer: "We are happy to announce that our friend Richard Schill (King Leaf Experience, My Collapse, ex-Shining) from Halmstad, will fill in on drums for The Unguided on our upcoming summer shows.
