Allegaeon - To Enter The Studio

Allegaeon is preparing to enter the studio to record their second album for Metal Blade, and the follow up to the highly rated Fragments Of Form And Function. This time around, the guys will be heading to San Diego to record with immensely talented up-and-coming producer, Daniel Castleman at Lambesis Studios. The band plans to record this December.

ETHS - Working On New Album

ETHS are back! Three years after the critically acclaimed Tératologie, the French modern metal act just entered the studio and is hard at work on a new album.

Kells - New Album Details

Anachromie, the new album by French female-fronted alternative metallers Kells is scheduled for a release on January 20th next year through Season Of Mist, which they recently signed to.

The album is set to be recorded and mixed by Yann Klimezyk (Mypollux) at MS Studio and mastered by Ted Jensen (Korn, Deftones, Muse) at Sterling Sound Studio in New York.

Darkthrone - To Re-Release Demos On Vinyl

Norwegian black metal duo Darkthrone will be re-releasing on November 14th four demos on vinyl format under the name Sempiternal Past.

Sempiternal Past contains all four of Darkthrone's cult demo releases recorded in 1988-1989 (Land Of Frost, A New Dimension, Thulcandra, and Cromlech); now fully restored and remastered from the best tape sources available. Also included on this release are the tracks recorded at Oslo TV in 1989, along with a restored version of the rare song "God Of Disturbance And Friction". It will be available on limited double vinyl with gatefold sleeve, with the sleeve including band notes, plus rare images and photos.

UK metalcore outfit Malefice have announced Andy Wilson as their new guitarist. Andy replaces Alex Vuskans who parted ways with the band this year. The band posted the following on their Facebook page: "After a baptism of fire standing in for Alex Vuskans on the bands recent UK run with Sylosis, Malefice have announced that Andy Wilson will take over on a permanent basis."
